There is no doubt that manual labor is very hard on the body. It takes a toll on muscles and bones and is generally very demanding on the body. Many manual laborers feel that their bodies give out relatively early in their careers because they are simply so worn out. It costs society a tremendous amount when working people can no longer work due to physical limitations, but it is worst of all for the individuals themselves, who lose quality of life, especially in the latter part of their lives.

Health Profiles

If you have a physically demanding job in a competitive industry where schedules and contracts must be met and the pace is fast, it can be a significant challenge to get enough rest and recovery, as well as proper nutrition and exercise. In addition to the physical toll, the mental pressure of a busy workday can also take its toll.

By offering health profiles to the trades sector, we can highlight the health challenges individual tradespeople face and provide advice and guidance on how to improve their health. This includes insights into blood test results, weight, and fitness levels, as well as mental health. All of these factors provide a comprehensive overview of an individual’s health.

Preventive effect

A health profile can serve as a foundation for larger, company-wide initiatives that promote health, including physical exercise during work hours. It doesn’t have to take any longer than a coffee break. Just a few minutes a day of high-intensity exercise can be enough to increase physical capacity and improve health, thereby enhancing employees’ fitness levels and preventing premature wear and tear.

New style

It’s all about thinking outside the box and breaking unhealthy habits. Management should take the lead and set the example on the path to better health. Management must limit the amount of unhealthy food in the workplace and find healthier alternatives. It should be cool to eat fruit instead of pork rinds, even if you work on a construction site.
